I was inspired to begin this blog after taking the “October Unprocessed” challenge in 2013, where I pledged to eat only unprocessed foods for one month.  It was a wonderful, eye-opening experience for me.  Since then, I have become more aware of the foods and products I put into and on my body.

In this blog, I hope to discover and share some new healthy foods and recipes, some healthy replacements for popular foods that may not be so healthy, and some exciting fitness challenges and forms of exercise to help achieve that level of balance in the physical body.  To achieve mental and spiritual health, I hope to share some tools and techniques that have worked for me to help turn my fears into love and ultimately helped me to achieve a deep level of peace.

My name is Stacy.  I am a 41-year-old wife and mother of 3 girls ages 14, 12, and 9.  I love to be inspired, I love to read, I love to learn, I love anything simple, healthy, and natural, and I love all things good.  I love life, and I’m so grateful for all the blessings God has given for each of us to enjoy.  I believe every person, every thing,everything is a gift and every experience we encounter each day is a gift.

I believe a life of balance in all areas is the key to optimal health.  I am passionate about my personal and spiritual growth, and I strive to become healthier in mind, body, and spirit every day in the hopes of setting a good example for my daughters so they may grow up to respect themselves, respect others, and respect the world we live in.
